It’s seldom that one gets a second chance at love. And if you do, it’s an experience to behold. Japie and Adele are two of those people who were granted an opportunity to build an exciting new life together. It was a cold and windy morning when we did the couple’s engagement photo shoot, but that didn’t put a damper on the love that was radiating from these two.
This photo shoot took place at a small urban village market in Braamfontein, and the special couple really took to me capturing their love. So much so that we even got Japie to smile for the camera! What a blessing it was to shoot Japie and Adele in preparation for the most important day of their lives. Just to be present with a couple whose love and compassion for each other is so tangible was truly an honour. What’s more, I got to capture some amazing images that they can share with each other and their loved ones for many years to come. The couple is due to tie the knot in January 2017.
